lyrics
Music by Jim Trainor. Lyrics by Liam Butler.
NO LONGER BLURRED
Took a walk down memory lane and soon got lost
I was stuck inside a day that I forgot
Took a trip to '96 and stayed too long
Wasn't looking for the bit where it all went wrong
Once again she stands before me
Whispering my name, like nothing ever changed
Someone told me long ago to not look back
It's the good times, don't you know, that make you sad
Once again she stands before me
Whispering my name, like nothing ever changed
In her hand a letter for me
Something she can't say, something I can't take
Suddenly the words
No longer look so blurred
I remember everything
Especially how they hurt
Once again she stands before me
Whispering my name, like nothing ever changed
In her hand a letter for me
Something she can't say, something I can't take

Listening to a lot of Kevin Robertson and the Vapour Trails recently. Superb songwriting and playing. Those guitar sounds are so damn good. whatrobdidnext

XTC had their moment in time...this recording extends it...Full of small, tight , quirky songs it juz rolls along. Recommended but maybe only for XTC fans.. cwhitney
