SOMEWHERE BEFORE
Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
The old man looking back at me
Is searching for a child who used to dream
Of cherry flavored soda streams
And cotton candy toffee apple trees
Then he told me I had changed
Too afraid to ask his name
But I know I've seen him somewhere before
Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
A young boy in a picture frame
Says you and me, we used to be the same
Do you recall when we would fly
On magic rocking horses in the sky
Then he said, but you have changed
Too ashamed to ask his name
But I know I've seen him somewhere before
Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Do you ever wonder, wonder who we are
Somehow I've forgotten how to catch a star
Funny how we get lost trying to find ourselves
'cause truth be told, we only really want to find ourselves
Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo

Listening to a lot of Kevin Robertson and the Vapour Trails recently. Superb songwriting and playing. Those guitar sounds are so damn good. whatrobdidnext

XTC had their moment in time...this recording extends it...Full of small, tight , quirky songs it juz rolls along. Recommended but maybe only for XTC fans.. cwhitney
